With Pontypridd securing the Adran Premier Conference Plate the previous Sunday and Aberystwyth’s position in the Adran Premier secured for next season there appeared to be little to play for at USW Sports Park.
Pontypridd took the initiative in a scrappy affair by scoring just before half time through Carys Bufton, this had followed an earlier missed penalty by Evie Hughes. Following the break Aberystwyth appeared a little lethargic with Pontypridd again scoring in the 61st minute through Liv Francis and again five mins later through Shannon Greenway.
The match ended with a 3-0 victory to Pontypridd which saw them being presented with the Conference Plate for the second time in two seasons.
