Brighton & Hove Albion and Arsenal played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in the Women’s Super League, with both sides creating chances in a competitive encounter at Broadfield Stadium.
The hosts took the lead just before half-time through Fuka Tsunoda after Brighton capitalised on a set-piece opportunity, but Arsenal responded strongly in the second half. Frida Maanum brought the visitors level in the 62nd minute with a composed finish after being played through by Alessia Russo.
Both sides continued to push for a winner in an open and competitive second half, but neither team could find the decisive breakthrough as the points were shared.
