Aston Villa came from behind to beat Leicester City 2–1 in their WSL clash on Sunday at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester took the lead late in the first half through Alisha Lehmann, who scored her first goal for the club to give the hosts a 1–0 advantage at the break.

Villa responded quickly after halftime, with Anna Patten equalising early in the second half to shift momentum in the visitors’ favour. They continued to push and eventually completed the turnaround when Kirsty Hanson netted the winner late on.

This result has strengthened Leicester’s position at the foot of the table, keeping them in the relegation zone for at least another week.
