Preparation is underway for England’s upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 qualifiers against Greece.
The historic match, on Friday 9th October, will be the first meeting of the two sides in Women’s senior international football. The Lionesses have gone unbeaten in their last 41 matches against first-time opponents.
With England Head Coach Sarina Weigman’s focus firmly on the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 in Brazil next year, she said, “We know what our objective is for these two games and exactly what we need to do to qualify for next summer’s tournament in Brazil.”
