Brentford were beaten 2–0 by Saltdean United at the Gtech Community Stadium in front of a crowd of 4,346, with the visitors scoring once in each half to strengthen the title race in the London & South East Premier Division.

Saltdean took the lead midway through Dani Lane in the first half with a well-taken finish from a cross. Captain Georgia Bridges added a second shortly after the restart, while Brentford created opportunities but were unable to find the net.

The result reduces Brentford’s advantage at the top of the table to three points, with Saltdean having games in hand, as the Bees turn their focus to an upcoming League Cup semi-final.
