The Lionesses secured a comfortable 5-0 victory over Belgium in the Women’s Nations League at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate. The result puts Sarina Wiegman’s team in a strong position at the top of Group A3.
Lucy Bronze celebrated her 130th international appearance with a goal and an assist. She opened the scoring in the 21st minute and set up Millie Bright’s in first-half stoppage time.
Second-half substitutes Aggie Beever-Jones and Jess Park made their claim for a start in the return match next week as they each found the back of the net.
Keira Walsh scored her first goal for her country with a late fifth goal.
We were fortunate enough to have photographer Billy East (B.East Photography) on hand to capture the action.
