Abergavenny came into this match following a six-point deduction for failing to fulfil two recent fixtures. Although this could have affected the players psychologically before the game it was not shown during the 90 minutes of play.
The match was quite a level affair with the only goal coming late in the match for Abergavenny Town by Alana Murphy at 88 minutes.
This result still leaves Abergavenny at the foot of the table with Barry Town United one place above.
