Reading have announced that Mayumi Pacheco, Millie Farrow, Jo Potter, Rachael Laws, Sophie Howard, Maxime Bennink, Remi Allen and Charlie Estcourt are leaving the club this summer following the expiration of their contracts.
Allen and Estcourt have been two long-serving players at the club with Allen joining the club in their first top flight campaign and was a crucial member of the squad ever since.
Whilst Estcourt came through the ranks, having first joined the Reading FC Women ranks at the age of 8. After a short spell with Chelsea’s youth system, she returned to their WSL Academy at the age of 16 and then broke into the first team.
” I would personally like to put on record a massive thank you to all the players; every single one of them has played a huge part in the success and development of our club,” Royals boss Kelly Chambers told the club website.
“I cannot thank them enough for all their efforts and what they have given to myself as manager, the team and the club as a whole during their careers at Reading.
“It is never easy saying goodbye to players, but I would like to personally wish them all the best in their next adventure.”
