Newcastle United maintained the pressure on north-east rivals Durham Cestria at the top of FA Women’s National League Division One North with a 6-1 victory over Bradford City.
A crowd of 24,092 fans at St. James’ Park were treated to goals from Beth Guy (2) and Charlotte Potts (2) in addition to goals from Georgia Gibson and Rachel Lee, with Bradford City’s response coming from Charlie Ramsden.
