Photo Diary: Moneyfields 2-3 Crawley Wasps AET

Crawley Wasps battle back from the brink of elimination to break Moneyfields’ hearts thanks to a double from Selin Burukgiray, her first in the eighty-first minute followed by another in the second half of extra time.

In the first eighty minutes, Moneyfields were good value for their lead. The opening goal came from Charlie Wilson-Wilton from close range from a dangerous Kim Whitcombe free-kick. Wasps pulled one back from the spot before a wonderful strike from Gemma Simmonds handed the home side the advantage only for it to be cruelly taken away.

We were fortunate to have photographer Ryan Asman on hand to capture all of the action.
