London City Lionesses found themselves ahead through Lois Heuchan and Sarah Ewens.
New signing, Viviane Asseyi, pulled one back for the Hammers. While Dagny Brynjarsdottir headed home an equaliser in the dying moments to break their opponents’ hearts and take the game to penalties.
