AEK-Boco Ladies came out with the victory at home to Bishops Lydeard at Keynsham Town FC. A close first half with the teams sussing each other out and Bishops Lydeard coming out on top at the break 0-1 up.
AEK-Boco Ladies came out in the second half with all guns blazing, and they managed to keep up their attacks throughout. Boco ended up scoring 4 goals to seal the victory. It was a confident performance by Boco and they showed a lot of character to come out 2nd half and believe they were going to win the game.
AEK-Boco’s Jodie Hooper was unlucky to have broken her tibia after her jump for the header that she scored in the final minutes of the game. Everyone at the club wishes her the best of luck on her recovery.
AEK-Boco Ladies Goals scored by Sasha Ferris (’68), Megan Bloomer (’70), Jess Dobbins (’81) and Jodie Hooper (’90).
We were fortunate enough to have photographer Billy East (B.East Photography) on hand to capture the action.
