Nadia Nadim Extends PSG Deal

Paris Saint-Germain have announced Nadia Nadim has extended her stay at the club until 2021.

There had been intense speculation that the Denmark International was set to leave the Parc des Princes.

Since signing for PSG in January 2019 Nadim has played 30 games and scored 15 goals.

Speaking about her decision to stay in France she said “I think I have a responsibility to the club, the supporters and the city of Paris. ready to relinquish that responsibility. So the choice is obvious for me to stay in Paris and Paris Saint-Germain. So I made a conscious decision to extend my contract with the club”.

In a video posted on her social media channels, she said, “Dear Paris, since I was a child Paris has always been a symbol for something beautiful, elegant and spiritual.

“Therefore it was a dream come true for me when in January 2019 I signed for Paris Saint-Germain, I got the chance of living in the beautiful city of Paris and representing one of the best clubs in the World.

“Everything in my daily life has been amazing since moving to Paris, I’ve been living my dream for the past one and a half years.

“From when I wake up in the morning until I go to bed in the evening I spend every day with a smile on my face in a way I’ve never experienced before, finally I’m enjoying life to the fullest”.
