Get Involved: FA WNL Teams of the Season Returns For 2025/26

We are delighted to bring back our popular FA Women’s National League Teams of the Season!

Originally inspired by the NBA’s Eastern and Western Conference All-Star teams, the concept began as a fun way to create our own FA WNL Premier Division North and South all-star line-ups. Since then, it has expanded to include a Team of the Season for every division across the fourth tier.

With comprehensive coverage across the league often limited beyond goal highlights, it can be difficult to fully assess performances throughout the campaign. That is where you come in.

We are once again inviting fans, players and staff from clubs across every division to help us compile this season’s teams.

There is, however, one key difference from most traditional Team of the Season awards. The only rule in our selection process is that each starting XI can feature a maximum of two players from the same club, although a third player may still be included among the five substitutes.

Working within those criteria brings its own challenges. Much like building a fantasy football team, difficult decisions sometimes have to be made, and that can mean leaving out an outstanding player in order to create a more balanced side.

While the Teams of the Season are ultimately intended to be a bit of fun, they also provide an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the players and clubs involved throughout the campaign.

You can submit a full team of your own selections or simply nominate an individual player you believe deserves recognition. You can do so via DM or email contact@since-71.com.

We ask that submissions are sent in as soon as possible, with the final teams set to be revealed live on YouTube via All For Women’s Football’s Lower League Lingo in June (exact date TBC).
