Throughout the month of December, Bridgwater United’s Ellie Strippel has taken on the challenge of running at least 125k in order to raise money for two charities. Both charities (Cancer Research UK and Diabetes UK) are not only close to Ellie but have also affected many and still continue to do so.
The United midfielder began her first run on the 1st of December and will continue until the 31st. Not only will her runs contribute towards the total, but Strippel will also track the distance she runs throughout games and training as well as any other runs from anyone willing to take part.
