Today I have had the pleasure of speaking to Beth Pritchard, Beth is a Broadcast Assistant and sports journalist currently based in Lincolnshire. As well as working for BBC Radio Lincolnshire, she is the Media Officer for Lincoln City from The National League Midlands Division One, the fourth tier of the women’s football pyramid.
Beth is one of the co-authors of the Women’s Football Yearbook 2019/20, a stable for everyone with an interest in women’s football. But this week is an exciting week for Beth as she releases her first book, titled ‘No Points.’ The book documents the highs and lows of the 2019/2020 FA Women’s National League season which was null and voided. Beth recounts the key events and speaks to the people who were there, the people who had their scores taken away from them.
Full disclosure, this was recorded about an hour before the news broke that the 2020/21 season was also to be cancelled.
