This afternoon third-tier Huddersfield Town welcome Women’s Super League side Everton to the John Smith’s Stadium for a fourth-round Vitality Women’s FA Cup tie.

Glen Preston’s Huddersfield side have defeated Sir Tom Finney Ladies, Sheffield FC and Loughborough Lighting to reach this round, while Everton only enter the competition at this stage.

They have scored more than any other team in the cup so far, scoring 26 in their three games and only conceding once. Their biggest victory was a 20-0 thrashing of Sir Tom Finney in the first round.

Everton currently sit 10th in the WSL, having won just three games in the league this season. After losing out in the final in the 2019/20 season they will be looking to chase silverware once more.

Northern Ireland teammates Becky Flaherty (Huddersfield goalkeeper) and Simone Magill (Everton forward) could face off in this fixture.

Huddersfield are looking to break their attendance record of 1,115 which was set the last time they played at the stadium against Ipswich, also in the FA Cup.

Tickets are available at the gate, £5 for adults and free for accompanied u16’s.
