Pompey earned another valuable point in their fight for survival, drawing 2–2 with promotion hopefuls Bristol City in a lively clash at Westleigh Park.
Former fan favourite, Jessie Gale, gave the Robins an early lead, but it was quickly wiped out when Oliwia Woś turned the ball into her own net.
After the interval, substitute Meg Hornby won a penalty that was saved, though a second opportunity soon followed, and Lucy Shepherd made no mistake.
Bristol City responded with a penalty of their own, before goalscorer Rio Hardy was sent off late in the game after picking up a second yellow card.
The draw leaves the Blues bottom of the WSL2 table on goal difference, with four teams currently level on 14 points.
We were fortunate enough to have Lewis Jeffery on hand to capture the action.
