OH Leuven hosted Club YLA, the women’s team of Club Brugge, on Saturday evening in the Lotto Super League.
The home side made the perfect start, taking the lead early through Aurélie Reynders. Leuven held onto their advantage for much of the first half, but just a few minutes before the break Rania Boutiebi brought the visitors level with a well-struck effort to make it 1–1 at half-time.
After the restart, OH Leuven regained the lead when Jada Conijnenberg found the back of the net with the decisive second goal. Leuven managed the remainder of the match well, holding firm to secure an important victory and showing they are ready for the upcoming Champions’ Play-offs.
