Photo Diary: London City Lionesses 2-0 Bristol City

London City Lionesses kept their promotion hopes alive as they closed the gap between them and league leaders Bristol City to three points with a 2-0 victory over their title-chasing rivals.

Bristol City’s goalkeeper Fran Bentley put in a fine display to keep the sides level at half-time, but a quickfire second-half brace from Atlanta Primus made certain that all three points would be remaining in East London.

With just 5 games to go for both clubs, it looks as though the Championship title race will be going all the way down to the final day of the season at the end of April. Bristol City are visitors at Southampton this weekend, whilst London City travel to Durham.

We were fortunate to have photographer Ryan Asman on hand to capture all of the action.
