Leeds United were narrowly beaten 2–1 by Norton & Stockton Ancients at Elland Road in an end-to-end contest.

The visitors started brightly and took the lead in 24th minute through Louise Atkinson, capitalising on a quick break. Leeds responded well after falling behind and found an equaliser just before half-time through Chloe Louise Dixon.

In the second half, both teams pushed for a winner. Leeds enjoyed long spells of control and looked the more dominant side for periods, but were unable to convert their chances into a goal that would put them ahead. Norton & Stockton Ancients regained the lead midway through the second half when they were awarded a penalty. Bianca Owens made no mistake for her twenty-first goal of the season in all competitions.

Despite heavy pressure from Leeds right up to the final whistle, the hosts were unable to find another equaliser. The visitors held on to secure the victory in front of a crowd of more than 4,000 fans, including a large number of travelling supporters.
