Academy graduate Lexi Potter netted her first goal for Chelsea as the Blues claimed a 2–1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League.
After weathering early pressure from Brighton, Sonia Bompastor’s team took the lead in the 13th minute when Alyssa Thompson rose to head in a strong cross from Sandy Baltimore. The Seagulls responded swiftly, with Carla Camacho levelling the score through a long-range effort.
