Chelsea Women secured a 2–0 victory over London City Lionesses at Stamford Bridge to extend their unbeaten run this season. Ellie Carpenter opened the scoring just six minutes in, netting her first goal for the club after meeting Sandy Baltimore’s precise low cross at the back post. Both teams created chances throughout, but it wasn’t until stoppage time that Sam Kerr capitalised on a defensive mistake to coolly chip the goalkeeper and seal the win, keeping Chelsea firmly at the top of the WSL table.
We were fortunate enough to have Tom Phillips (@tp.photography1999) on hand to capture the action.
