Photo Diary: Bristol City 0-2 Southampton FC

Southampton claimed an away win over Bristol City at Ashton Gate, earning an important three points with a composed and clinical display. The visitors took the lead just before half-time when Tegan McGowan converted from close range, giving Saints the advantage after a competitive opening period. They maintained control for much of the second half, staying organised defensively while continuing to threaten going forward.

The result was confirmed deep into stoppage time when Ellie Brazil lifted the ball over the goalkeeper to double Southampton’s lead and secure the victory. After bouncing back from a recent setback, Saints showed determination and discipline throughout, limiting Bristol City’s attacking opportunities and building momentum as they move forward in their league campaign.

We were fortunate enough to have Lewis Jeffery on hand to capture the action.
