Brighton & Hove Albion returned to the AMEX for a pre-season test against European giants PSG as both sides continued their preparations for the new domestic season.
The contest remained closely fought throughout, with neither side able to find a breakthrough until PSG took the lead through 15-year-old Alyssa Charlier. Brighton continued to push for an equaliser and were eventually rewarded in the 85th minute when Maisie Symonds found the back of the net with a well-taken free kick.
Neither side could find a late winner, with the match ending 1–1 at the AMEX. Both Brighton and PSG used two different starting XIs across the 90 minutes, allowing the managers to spread the workload and give valuable minutes to their squads ahead of the new season.
