Tottenham Hotspur delivered an emphatic attacking display as they defeated Aston Villa Women 7–3 in a thrilling Women’s Super League encounter. Spurs seized control early and built a strong advantage before the break, with goals from Signe Gaupset, Bethany England, and Olivia Holdt. Although Villa responded in the second half, Tottenham continued to press forward relentlessly, adding further strikes — including a brace from Cathinka Tandberg — to put the result beyond doubt.
Villa showed attacking intent and managed to get on the scoresheet three times, but they struggled defensively against Spurs’ sharp movement and clinical finishing. The high-scoring contest ultimately highlighted Tottenham’s dominance in front of goal, while Villa were left frustrated after conceding seven on home turf.
We were fortunate to have Jermaine Addo-Yeboah on hand to capture the action.
