AFC Bournemouth beat league rivals Plymouth Argyle 1–0 in the FA Women’s National League Cup Final after a tense and closely fought match. The only goal came through Kenni Thompson’s early corner, which curled straight into the Argyle net to put them ahead.
Plymouth kept pushing and thought they had equalised through Phoebe Poole, but the goal was ruled offside. Argyle also hit the post late on, but Bournemouth defended strongly under pressure and held on to secure the trophy.
We were fortunate to have Gracie White of Sann Media and Michael Jolly on hand to capture all of the action.
