MK Dons Women look to bounce back after being knocked out of Vitality Woman’s FA Cup and advance to the Berks and Bucks Woman’s Senior final.
Dons are hosting current holders of the Berks and Bucks Woman’s Senior Cup Reading, who beat the Dons last year on the way to lifting the cup.
Last time out in the Cup competition MK Dons took on Penn & Tylers Green Ladies and advanced with an impressive and professional 17-0 victory. Nicole Pepper netted in 4 as well as Laura Mitchell scoring her first hat-trick for the Dons.
Gemma Biggadike and Angelina Nixon both scored braces plus Tricia Gould, Kerry Newman, Mollie Coupar and Nicola Puddick all ended up on the score sheet.
“Sunday will be another fantastic occasion & a big test against an excellent Reading side. It allows us to continue the momentum from last weekend as we look to book our place into the final. The players have come back in fully focused & ready to show this once again Sunday” – Charlie Bill – Manager MK Dons Women
“It was great to score my first hat-trick for the Dons last round and put in a really professional team performance. Although it was a while ago now we’ll look to build from that game, as well as last Sunday against Charlton, to make sure we get the result we want. We know the threats the opposition will pose and how they’ll look to play but we know our own qualities and we’re more than a match for anyone on our day” – Laura Mitchell – MK Dons Women
