Everton and Liverpool Feds have today announced an exciting new partnership, which will see the Feds play their home games at Walton Hall Park.

As Everton Women make Goodison Park their permanent home, the move ensures that Walton Hall Park remains a hub for grassroots, community and development football

This is great news for Feds, one of the most likeable teams within the women’s football pyramid, although we have a soft spot for the underdogs who are going toe to toe with Premier League and Football League-backed clubs.

By moving to Walton Hall Park, the Feds will gain access to top-level facilities, including a WSL-standard pitch and upgraded supporter amenities, as they prepare for another competitive season in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division against the heavily backed teams of Burnley, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion.

The stadium will also host matches for Everton’s men’s U21s and provide facilities for Everton Free School and Football College, cementing its role as a key development centre for football in the city.

Founded in 1990, Liverpool Feds have grown from a grassroots university side into one of the region’s leading women’s clubs, now competing in the third tier of the women’s pyramid. Their thriving youth setup includes more than 150 girls playing across age groups from under-10s to under-18s every week – making them a vital part of Liverpool’s football community.

Hannah Forshaw, Everton Women’s new Chief Executive, welcomed the collaboration, saying:

“This is an exciting time for Everton Women, as we begin our historic journey at Goodison Park. Partnering with Liverpool Feds reflects our wider commitment to championing women’s football across the city – from the grassroots to the elite game. By supporting a thriving local National League side and ensuring Walton Hall Park remains a hub of opportunity, we’re helping to inspire the next generation of players and fans.

Feds’ General Manager, Abby Pope, described the move as a major step forward for the club:

“The move to Walton Hall Park marks a significant milestone for Liverpool Feds. It not only elevates our matchday experience for players, staff and fans, but also strengthens the visibility of women’s football in Liverpool. This partnership reflects our ambition and belief in the power of collaboration to inspire the next generation.”

With both clubs committed to growing the game, the partnership signals another positive step for women’s football in Liverpool – bringing grassroots and elite levels closer together while showcasing the city’s rich footballing culture.

Feds will be stepping out onto the pitch for the first time this Sunday as they host West Bromwich Albion in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division.
