Cymru took the initiative early on in this international friendly in front of a record friendly attendance of nearly 7,000 fans at Cardiff City Stadium. Scoring three first half goals within the first 30 mins through Jess Fishlock, Angharad James and Hannah Cain the match was effectively over.
Rachel Rowe made it 4-0 on 64 minutes with a consolation goal for Northern Ireland at 73 mins by Lauran Wade.
Cymru now travel to Guimaraes to take on Portugal on Tuesday, 11th April in another friendly match.
