“The details were incredible, and as a young girl, you dreamed of having these moments, but they never seemed to be the case that they could become true.
“To be a Barbie role model is so special. To have my very own one-of-a-kind Barbie doll. I’m very proud of that. I can’t wait to show my family.
“You don’t really believe these things could happen. You always look for the trophies and the wins on the pitch, but off the pitch, this is a massive win.”

She also added, “To see a footballer with a Barbie doll shows that our sport is here to stay. We’ve inspired so many on the pitch, but off the pitch this is huge.”
While the Barbie doll is currently in Chloe Kellys hands, its yet to be seen if Mattel will capitalise on the ongoing popularity of the women’s game & mass produce these dolls for general sale.
Mattel are holding a Barbie Dream Fest in Fort Lauderdale, USA at the end of March which will include some of the famous faces from the series, including Serena Williams. For anyone in the area, you can get your tickets here –www.barbiedreamfest.com
Unfortunately for us here in the UK, we will have to wait to see Chloe Kelly in action as she is currently recovering from a Knee issue that has seen her sidelined for large parts of the 25/26 Season for Arsenal with no real update from Renée Slegers in recent weeks.
