Belgian forward Tessa Wullaert is leaving Manchester City following the expiration of her contract the club confirmed on Friday.
She joined City in the summer of 2018 from VfL Wolfsburg – helped the team to a Continental Cup and FA Women’s Cup double in her first season in England.
During her two year stay in Manchester Wullaert scored ten goals in 53 appearances in all competitions.
She’s the second player to leave Manchester City this summer as Pauline Bremer moves to Wolfsburg.
She made her full international debut in 2011 against Russia and is now the country’s greatest-ever goalscorer with 39 goals in 71 appearances
A Manchester City statement added “Everybody connected with Manchester City would like to thank both players for their contributions and wish them well in their future endeavours”.
