Four of the world’s strongest women’s football clubs will come together in London at the end of the month for the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup™.
The new mid-season tournament will be held in years when the FIFA Women’s Club World Cup™ is not scheduled, with 2026 marking its first edition. The competition reflects FIFA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the foundations of women’s football by highlighting the club game and increasing global visibility for the next generation of female athletes.
Concacaf champions Gotham FC of the United States will face CONMEBOL champions Corinthians of Brazil, while UEFA Women’s Champions League holders Arsenal of England will take on ASFAR of Morocco, the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League winners.
Matches will be hosted across Brentford Stadium and Arsenal Stadium, with the tournament kicking off on Wednesday 28 January at Brentford Stadium.

The two semi-final matches will be played at Brentford Stadium on Wednesday 28 January, with kick-off times at 12:30 pm and 6:00 pm. These fixtures will decide which teams advance to the final and which will contest the third-place play-off.
On Sunday 1 February, the tournament will move to Arsenal Stadium. The third-place play-off will take place at 2:45 pm, where the two losing semi-finalists will compete for the bronze medal. Later that evening, at 6:00 pm, the first-ever women’s intercontinental club champions will be crowned in the final, followed by a memorable closing ceremony.
This will be an excellent opportunity for fans of women’s football in this country to see some of the biggest talent from across the globe and I for one cannot wait.
With all participating clubs in the middle of their domestic and continental campaigns, squad selection will be a key talking point. It remains to be seen whether teams such as Arsenal will field full-strength line-ups for this mid-season tournament, particularly with the club still competing across all four competitions this season. Arsenal will be hoping to defend their UEFA Women’s Champions League title and improve on their cup performances under head coach Renée Slegers.
Tickets for the semi-final matches are priced from £5.00 for juniors to £20.00 for adults. Tickets for the final and third-place play-off, which include access to both matches, range from £10.00 for juniors to £60.00 for adults.
