The One Goal Campaign Ending Soon!

After the success of their previous fundraiser, The One Goal are back and are again offering you the chance to win a signed match-worn jersey from some the world’s leading female footballers.

This time they are partnering with Dear Football – a Danish charity supporting football projects in African countries. Their latest campaign, #ShirtsForGirls, aims to raise money for El Cambio Academy, a girl’s football academy in Uganda.

The girl’s football programme has been set up at El Cambio Academy to demonstrate that girls can and will get the same opportunities as boys to play sports, including football. Many African girls would love to be a part of a football community, but currently do not have the opportunity. Your involvement can help impact this change and their goal of changing the perception of African girls’ place in both sport and society.

The funds raised from this campaign will be used for an education programme, school equipment, medical care, accommodation, football training and the overall character development of girls who attend the academy.

El Cambio has one goal: to build self-worth and strong characters. They want their players to enjoy life and be able to achieve their dreams.

If you would like to win a signed watch-worn jersey from the likes of Sam Kerr, Ali Riley, Simone Boye and many more just visit https://theonegoal.org. Raffle places start at £5.00 for ten ‘virtual tickets’ but £50 buys you one hundred and thirty tickets. Be warned the deadline is fast approaching – midnight on December 1st!

Personally, I’m putting my name in the hat for Corinthians’ Tamires de Britto jersey from the Copa Libertadores.

The current total raised is just over £7,400 so it’d be great if we could give it a push to exceed £8,000.
